Krista Westmoreland
“I enjoyed listening to the different accounts given in court and learning about the different aspects of travel law…… I really enjoy working here everybody is so nice and welcoming.”
Krista Westmoreland, Administrative Assistant
Krista has been with the firm since February 2008 and helps to ensure that the office runs smoothly at all times. Her role within Travlaw is pivotal and ensures that communication is maintained between all members of the team.
In 2003 Krista went on holiday during which unfortunately her friend sustained an injury by falling off a retaining wall. Krista’s friend later went on to sue the holiday company and Krista was a witness at the trial. Through this experience she met Stephen who was the advocate on the case and believed that Krista had proved not only to be a good witness but also a diverse individual who would suit the firm. Krista found the experience really interesting. She comments, “I enjoyed listening to the different accounts given in court and learning about the different aspects of travel law. Stephen was representing the holiday company and afterwards we got talking. He asked me if I would like to work at the firm and I said yes! I really enjoy working here everybody is so welcoming.”
Top travel tip? Take a camera; I love taking pictures and then making albums when I get home.
Budget or luxury? Budget- I prefer to save my money on holiday for trips and more shopping!
Best ever holiday? Cyprus . The beaches were nice and the people were really friendly. I thought there was a good atmosphere in the evenings and a lively nightlife.
Best travel law advice to clients? Ensure all hotel reports (health and safety etc) are up to date and everything is checked thoroughly. |
