Coronavirus Update

Wednesday January 29th

The FCO has this morning updated its advice with regards to travel to China.

As at the time of posting, the advice is ‘against all travel to Hubei Province and all but essential travel to the rest of mainland China (not including Hong Kong and Macao).

This is of course in light of the spread of the coronavirus disease – which has now reached 5,974 confirmed cases and resulted in 132 deaths.

British Airways have suspended all flights to and from Mainland China with immediate effect.

We at Travlaw will be monitoring this matter closely and are on hand to assist should you have any questions regarding your customers or staff who may be affected.

For further information, Krystene’s original article contains some advice.
