YOUR TRAVEL AND LEISURE LAW TEAM

Travlaw’s Big Tent Event 2021 – “Hope Springs”

Despite the challenging conditions all round, it’s January and so Travlaw’s Big Tent Event returns for 2021!

A lot has happened since our Big Tent Event in 2020 (this is perhaps an understatement…) one aspect of which means that the BTE this year will be held virtually as opposed to in person. However our commitment to giving the travel & leisure industry good, key information remains. As such, for the 13th year in a row, on the 28th January 2021 we will be running the e-BTE, once again as an invite-only event, and with the running theme “Hope Springs”.

Event Time & Date

Thursday 28th January 2021, from 16:00 with an expected run time of approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. The event will be delivered via a Zoom Webinar.

Event Format

We will have a series of short and to the point updates on a variety of travel law issues from our experts – Ami Naru, Stephen Mason, Emma Shakespeare and Nick Parkinson. Following that there will be our always-informative panel session. This year we are delighted to welcome:

  • Mark Tanzer – CEO at ABTA
  • Paul Charles – Founder & CEO at the PC Agency
  • Jess Dennison – Director at Latin Routes

Moderator – Krystene Bousfield, Travlaw

There will be opportunity to ask questions of the Panel, both in advance and at the event.

Our Sponsors

We are once again humbled and delighted to have the much-valued support of Travel Risk Professionals, White Hart Associates, Barclays and the Charitable Travel Foundation.

For more information on each of the amazing companies, who understand the travel and leisure industry, please contact us and we will happily provide onward contact details.

Charities

In what has been a difficult time for so many people, we are also pleased to say that as a result of various factors, a number of donations have been made to various travel related charities as a result of this event, including The Family Holidays Association and ABTA Lifeline. That is before we even mention our newest sponsor, the The Charitable Travel Foundation and all the fine work they do, and the fantastic efforts of Jess and the team at Latin Routes for their Christmas Gifts Appeal. Kudos all round!

Our Media Partner

We are also again pleased-as-punch to say that our official Media Partner for the Big Tent Event is Travel Weekly – see them for all the latest news and insights into what is happening in the industry, and for coverage of the e-BTE 2021!

Invites

As always, the Big Tent Event is an exclusive, invite-only event and invites are being distributed at the time of this post going live. Numbers are limited, but for more information and to enquire about invites please contact advice@travlaw.co.uk.
