Travlaw’s chosen charity for 2023 is Shelter, a local charity who campaign for housing justice and to resolve the increasing problem of homelessness in the UK. Some of the services which Shelter offer include:
- One-to-one personalised help with housing issues and homelessness
- Expert information online about any housing-related issues
- Free emergency helpline open 365 days a year to answer calls from those who are struggling with a housing issue or homelessness
- Free legal advice and attend court to help people who have lost their homes or are facing eviction
If you would like to help us fundraise for Shelter but would prefer to donate something other than cash, we would happily accept any gift donations that we can use as prizes in a raffle or other fundraising events. Please do get in touch with us directly.
